(34 km from Ragusa; 7640 inhabitants; 199 m. a.s.l.; zip code 97011;
area code 0932) is situated on a plateau, in the Dirillo's Valley,
and it is surrounded by a broad level area, mostly agriculturally
destined.
 There
is a main square, Piazza Libertà, where stand the important
monuments stand: the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church) and the Castello
(the Castle).
The
